August 11, 201114 yr 99 times out of a hundred cries of a nerf mean one whiney person is having a streak of bad luck. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
August 11, 201114 yr Last time I went I got an effigy after 20-30 minutes (I left after that due to forgetting pray pots <_<), that was about a month ago though. xpx' math tells me there's a 44% chance a trip ends in no effigies (I didn't verify it but it's xpx). With more people doing crawlers, more people have dry streaks. I don't think they are nerfed, but people might have been counting on 1/700 for effigies and 850 kph (the old highest estimate for drop rate with the new highest estimate for kph) rather than the more modest 1/800 for effigies and 800 kph which seem to be about the current standard for long-term camping. August 13, 201114 yr The cls vs rapier and onyx vs berserker ring is pretty debatable imo, until he shows some numerical proof that cls > rapier I'm not with him. Also he's using old (or low estimate) figures with 700+ kph, because 800 kph is very achievable.
