As I am about to get 99 range and will be maxed range tank, i was wondering which shield would be best for Dks, Arma and Nex. I'm guessing dks would be spectral, and the other two bosses eek would be best.

 

I am looking to train my dung and with the help of DGS i could get 200k tokens relatively fast, and it would be free, rather then ~40mil. I havent got a ton of cash (20mil bank) and arma and bandos arma would be before spectral, so cost is a factor.

 

I just want to know what the performance at each boss is like, as i will be starting to get into those bosses a lot. and just for the record i currently use bss.

Spectral is better for Armadyl, because Kree'arra her max with Magic is only 210 so damage soaking doesn't do anything.

eek has the range attack though :S and i kinda want dung levels/xp

You can use the EEK although keep in mind you'll have to recharge it pretty often, since you're always under attack.

at nex what is better?

At nex eeks is better, people will take spec as you not wanting to tank or help team.

For DKs you shouldn't use either, Ely>Arcane>DFS>all other shields.

For Arma spec is slightly better than eeks. But if you have 2 or more people use void+deflector.

Wouldn't an unholy book be better at Nex?

In theory it's supposed to be. But most teams would have a laugh and kick you, if you were to use an Unholy book.

Unholy book will get you destroyed. In blood and final phase nex focuses on the person with lowest Mage def.

Supposedly pretty well since it's got that massive range defence and no negative range attack bonuses, unlike the dfs.

 

However I've never tried it, I just used a bss last time I went.

CKS is alright, but DFS is better. The range def from DFS is fine, 7str>2 stab, but the main problem with CKS is that it has more negative magic attack, and the cost of charges.

since i want 99 dung, ive decided to get eek, maul and cks in that order, which will take me 100kxp over 99 dung.

Just so you know, using DGS for your EEKS and 99 dg then quitting will not go down well when you apply.

i still aim to eventually get all chaotics/most of the rewards which are usefull, but i just wont be dunging as much as i will for 99.

 

instead of aiming for 3 chaotics in a month and a half, it'll be more like 1 chaotic in a month, or 1-2 dungs a day

You should use 148 for one more level, then No Quitters for 93 to 100 or whatever the requirement is for UDG.

ive used dgs before for 85-92, why cant i use it now?

DGS is for people going for level 120 and beyond, not level 100 and some chaotics.

i am going for 120 and beyond, just i wont be dunging as much
