sirroflcat
Now.. The idea orginally came from Dire1 (im new here so try not to own me to hard) Okay, So the orginal idea was to have when you right click a drop down menu would appear with the persons name and a large report button would be to the left. This would make the menu very large. Heres my idea on how it could be smaller for better reporting. Very simple as you can see. Instead of a 60 sec delay for each report. I propose a 15 second delay. Therefore any attempt at spamming the report button would be in 15 sec intervals. Any ideas?
The Observer
Player Moderators already have a right-click report option, so a similar system is already in place.

The Observer
Yeah, but having a different system for the public would be a bit silly. Instead the system that's already in place could be made for the public, which I wouldn't personally mind.

I too agree having two different systems for Moderator and public doesnt make much sense, But of course moderator reports should be higher priority. Crocefisso
I fully agree with your suggestion. "Imagine yourself surrounded by the most horrible cripples and maniacs it is possible to conceive, and you may understand a little of my feelings with these grotesque caricatures of humanity about me." - H.G. Kaida23
They should at least implement the report system they have on the foreign (or at least German) servers - you press 'report' and it brings up a list of everything said in the last 60 seconds. You just click on a person's name select the offense. No trying to type names like 'fjdklajdkl', just point and click. Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P. So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually... Jonanananas
The problem is not that players aren't reporting enough, the problem is that Jagex can't cope with the bot reports. i Zaros organized big bot hunting events. He kept track of all bots reported, and after 11k reports, 500 were resetted/banned.(His topic got locked after posting this) As annoying as the 60 second rule may be, it serves a purpose. I've heard there are already bots out there who randomly report a player from time to time, just to clog up the system. I don't know if this is true, but it would make sense I guess.
