KCHughes
When you ask Ms. Schism about his hat, she says he used to have a scruffy old black hat. Is this a hint that is a dark wizard? When he was first introduced, he had a black scholar's hat, like the ones you wear at a graduation ceremony. the russians are the best! Hands down! TrueInuyasha
Question to members: In a non-member world, when I ask him, "Is there anything I can do for you?", he just says, "thanks, but I don't have anything I need doing on non-member worlds." What does he say in a member world? He gives you tasks to do (Fecth him 5 normal logs, 5 bronze spears, take this message to the oracle, etc). As a reward, he blesses you, and gives you a bit of prayer XP.
sprites
Another thing I would like to point out: If you look in the W.O.M. telescope it is pointed towards a symbol of an eye on the wizards tower. I think the eye may be a clue that W.O.M. has something to do with the desert. It looks alot like the Egyptian eye of horus. (aka the "solar eye") There is a myth about the sun god Horus and his enemy Set (the sun eating god of darkness) in which a cosmic battle takes place. Much like the god wars between saradomin and zamorak. Another interesting bit, Ichtlarin, the Devourer, Armadyl, and Zaros all have Egyptian counterparts. dorkdorkdork
just wondering? why does jagex let us f2pers look at the video and pick up some books from the bookcases if the case introduced will be p2p? is it to arouse interest in p2p and persuade ppl to go p2p? sprites
In the wizards tower there is a statue of what appears to be a pheonix bird. For anyone who has done the golem quest, you know you must visit the desert pheonix and take one of its feathers. But why would the wizards tower have one of these statues? And why does the W.O.M. have a statue of a cat? Perhaps they are gods of some kind? Kill corporate radio. http://www.killradio.org

chickenman
Well, maybe he is really a dark mage, and tries to pretend that he is a follower of saradomin. When you do his task, I believe you are always getting him weapons...for what? maybe for an army to take over the wizard tower. He needed the money from robbing the bank to pay explorers to make his requests?

froglegowns
awhile ago I did a ton of his little mini quests, he would ask for axes, spears, nails, wire, runes, ess tinder boxes. He always gives you xp runes, or gems, One time he asked me to kill the monster under his bed as the quest. It did look like a deforemed kalphite. Maybe the monster under his bed was somthing he tried summoning and failed?

sprites
The wise old man doesn't seem to like the sphinx very much... When he mentions "false gods" he is talking about the cat goddess Icthlarin, whom you help in Icthlarins little helper quest. Sprites: That feline statue you've got on your bookshelf there - I'm sure I saw something like that when I was in Sophanem. Wom: I've always liked to collect little trinkets to remind me of the time when my life was more - ah - exciting. Sprites: So you've spoken to the Sphinx, then? Wom: *laughing* Spoken to a sphinx, you say? My dear young man, you can't possibly be serious! Sprites: What do you mean? Wom: Ha ha ha! The people who live deep in the shifting sands of the desert will often tell travellers tall tales of strange beasts, but that doesn't mean any of it's remotely true! Sprites: But I've met the Sph... Wom: Please adventurer, there is nothing to be gained by interfering in matters you do not understand. Even if such a creature were to exist... Sprites: ... which it does... Wom: EVEN IF SUCH A CREATURE WERE TO EXIST it would be terribly dangerous for you to get involved in its business. I have heard of terrible things happening to travellers in that land, and I would not wish for you to be dragged into anything like that. Indeed, I have heard of adventurers doing the most shameful and blasphemous deeds believing themselves to be acting on behalf of some false god! Sprites: Hmmm? utter492
im not really sure if anyone mentioned this but his bed has sone one or somthing under it... there is an option to kick the bed that is upstairs and it kinda jumps a little... if u position the screen corecttly u can see that there r 2 feet under the bed because the sheet is not all the way to the ground at a spot it looks too small for human feet and how could someone stand or squat under there( the feet look as though they r standing up) the vidoe(of the robbery) recently got moved to f2p and i watched it... i think he is a person from sara's army or somthing because hes got the goldplated sara armour.. another therea, if u search some of the shelves it says,"why does he have so many tinderboxes." mabey he is trying to burn down the wizards tower agian and is working for zammy.. im not really sure if any of this was discussed but whatever, i feel as though i helped a little...
