True, I have found that you make around 250k per hour rune mining. It is kind of a lot of money for me and the thrill is pretty exciting. You never know if you are going to hit it rich or not. Nature crafting is a another good money maker, but really, where is the fun in that? Also you don't need to be higher than level 85 to start making money.

i heard that it doesnt bring in alot of cash the rocks take ages to spawn and take ages to mine and u only make 10 k per rock so it aint very good.

It's good money, the best way besides merchanting to make money in f2p and one of the best in p2p.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There is no reason really to worry about pkers in deep wild in f2p, avoid multi and you'll get away easily.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, there have been many more f2p worlds added lately and that makes it easier to find full rocks.

free smith = free (duh)

 

 

 

rune med = 11,something high alch

I also agree that its worth it. Not many things in f2p are actually worth it (actually nothing...), but 85 mining is one of the things thats at least worth it a bit. Its not "1m an hour" you hear some people shouting, but its still the best money maker on f2p, if you arent a master merchanter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the risk makes it quite entertaining :D (as long as you dont mine 100s a day. I suggest you do a few every day and continue your other goals. If you do like 15 every day (half an hour, or a bit more) you get rich without noticing)
