August 21, 201114 yr So i plan on soloing the elemental mainly for fun but hopefully for some decent drops. I was wondering the best way to kill it. I have rapier and maul, high melee and magic stats and awful range. What equipment should i wear? What should i pray? Should i use dwarf cannon?
August 21, 201114 yr Maul, black hide, low risk offence boosts (glory etc) and a combat familiar. You can't use overloads and you must keep a full inventory at all times (or at least, it helps), so heal with juju gumbo if you got a stock. August 21, 201114 yr maul is prolly best as stated, but i had fairly good luck with handcannon (+ rune crossbow and broads cause hc can break) and veng, and yes remember pies or somekinda food you can eat and keep inventory full i don't play psykick anymore... i play 2ed: "pure fett" 26081 to get 99 herblore
August 21, 201114 yr Author I had a trip earlier using rapier and a war tortoise for food with a cannon. I did pretty well, about 12 kills. I used generally the gear Quyneax recommended and prayed against mage (Should i do that?) I used summer pies and left 1 inventory space open because this makes him remove 1 item from you, but it also means that that turn won't be an offensive attack like it would if i had no spaces, so it actually helps. (I read a small guide) And maul is better? Alright i'll try that next time, i noticed that rapier was rather inaccurate even with d defender.
