Lets be nice...

Lots of people have been complaining about 'noobs' begging off them when they go on free worlds, and the general immaturity of players.

I have a solution. last night, me and my brother went on to a free world, and made 150 iron bars, then turned then into 10 sets of full iron including a scimitar. Our reasoning was that by giving them out to new players, those players would remember the free gift, and be nicer as a result in future.

If everyone did that once in a while, runescape would be a much nicer place. People would pass their gift on later when they get much higher leveled, and the niceness thing would spread and spread.

So, be nice to people

I have to get practically naked when I'm cooking bacon.

I may be immature, but that made me laugh!

sometimes u just make them want more, what u did was a good idea and was very thoughtful..

But sometimes its better show just one person how to mine or how to do another skill so they can earn money themselves and not rely on other people to give them stuff..

I actually made 300 iron bars and made 20 sets of the same thing, and do you know what some of them did? They tried to act like a different person so they could get another one

It's not that they are helpless, it's that they're lazy, and I really don't respect that kind of person. Granted, yes, there are some that will actually appreciate the gift and use it wisely, but most just want to get by the game without acually having to do any work

I try to do the same but most of the time I get taken advantage of. Like on Christmas eve night into early Christmas morning I was having a massive drop party wear I spent 1Mil +. Tons of mith and addy sets and rune items. Most of the time people kept saying they didnt get anything to try and get me to give them more, but every now and then you run into a honorable noob, if theres such a thing, like I did this past week. I logged onto a f2p world and came up on a lvl 10 trying to trade 9 iron bars for a Steel Long Sword. I found the whole idea of this very cute, but since I was in such a nice mood I told him to get his atk and def to 10 I'd buy him full Black and a Black weapon of his choice. He had a hard time beliving this at first but I guess he figured there was no loss in this. I am a very honorable person and pride myself on things like this so of course I held up my end of the deal. He didnt beg for more and asked me how he could repay me. I told him that his friendship and being good fair player was enoug. Then I asked him if he would like to be my squire. Sure this feeds my own ego ;) but my ego has a huge appetite but also he learns things about the game faster and I said I'll armour him for ever advance he gets into a new armor class. I have no problem doing this for any lower level thats fair and nice and is not just a straight up noob. I'll help the noobs but they have a tendancy to drive me crazy. So when I see a lower level that acts how I acted when I was there I have no problem with hooking them up with the good stuff. Anyway yea now Im just rambling.

Well if your like me and have some extra money because you dont buy into the paper hats ugly masks and santa hat crap it doesnt hurt your bank that much. Now if you gotta have your p hat sets and mask sets for no other apparent reason than "Look at me and my money" it might be a little harder for you.

Sorry Blackthought I didnt mean for it to sound like I was calling you greedy. I was just saying like theres people who have all this extra money but that are to selfish to help some selfish noobs who if are given some things might change there ways. Which I doubt because I come across the same problem you do people on 2nd chars. Most of the time I ask if this is there 2nd char or not and alot of the times they say yes so there pretty honest. But normally I can stake out the one that doesnt have a first char by just the way there acting. Like the guy im helping now didnt know what attack type would raise his str atk and def.
