pulli23
You can bot kuradel's dungeon, but you can't camp there. That means that even if there are bots in kuradel's dungeon it doesn't get overrun because you have to be on a slayer task. This means people tend to leave pretty fast because their task is up. I hope they do more like kuradel's dungeon. Also, I hope they do more slayer drops for only slayer tasks. The big problem with the economy is that slayer drops become more and more common, so over time their value has to decrease because they're exiting the game. I would like to see some systems in place to remove old items (better than the crap that was MA!) Some way to benefit by crushing up old rune armor or slayer items for smithing xp or something like that. It doesn't have to be much, but worth it enough that as the cost of the item goes down, it becomes worth buying and "destroying", but if the cost of the item is too high it is not worth it. (Thereby creating a semi-artificial floor on the price of items) But it cant' be like high-alch which puts more gp in the game. It should instead give xp or some other minigame reward or something. As it stands, we are getting more and more whips and dark bows and vine whips and sols into the game, but hardly any are leaving. And it's happening at a rate faster than the players are expanding.Well the thing I hate about kuradal is that it is so "boring".. All rooms for monster X, all rooms are pretty small. I liked slayer because it brought me to variety of environments, abyssal demons inan abyssal type environment, ogres were jungle type, waterfiends were found under a whirlpool, dragons had their habitat. - All had their specific reasons for being there, or a story how they moved there. Kuradal's dungeon + chaos tunnels kind of "killed" this, as the dungeon was so much better that the rest of runescape became stupid to go. So I for one am not looking forward to another dungeon providing a "mix" of units to slay and being the very best, ultimate slayer method. If anything the total, effective xp rates should be around 90-105% of the current alternatives (chaos tunnels, kuradal). Runescape is already easy as it is, now it should aim for alternative methods slightly worse (but less repetitive) than the very best. First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Even if the chaos tunnels simply looked a bit more different for each type in the rooms? I do like the chaos tunnels because it adds multicombat for a lot of monsters that didn't have it. And I like kuradels' for being task only so that it is generally more accessible. It's also a lot easier to get to so I don't mind that part :D But they look really bland. I hope that if we have new slayer dungeons, they are more intriguing generally (by graphicals and the actual environment maybe interacting with you) Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
stonewall337
They only come into the game through Slayer. They can't be smithed or made. It's not worth your time doing so. Dark bows are 240k. Whips are 700k. Staff of light costs 1.3m (presumably only because you can't camp that). In other words, slaying for slayer drops is pointless They've lowered in price due to time. Originally they were great drops. Saying that it isn't a reward now would imply that drops shouldn't be released for Slayer at all because eventually down the line they'll become almost useless.Dumb argument. Past isn't relevant to the current situation, in this case. Inherency states that there is a problem NOW. Whether slayer was good in the past DOES NOT MATTER. As of right now, its inefficient to slay, you are better off 1.) MHing or 2.) Camping the best xp/hr gp/hr monster. Plan: Change how slayer works, uncampable monsters, slayer only buffs, non-tradable items.Advantage one: Removes the GE factor, bot factor is lessened, and adds some spice to slayer, among other things.Solvency: Just about any high level slayer on this forum, such as bruno and I, I know. TL;DR Whips could have been 100m a year ago. But that doesn't make slayer AS IT IS NOW efficient, or lacking in the "needs to be upgraded" department. Don't try and use even mediocre arguments when you have so many problems with your own logic, please for Saradomin's sake...
