Fury dropping?

Featured Replies

Is there any specific reason that the fury is dropping so hard? (I've been away from the game for a whiiile.)

I would say it's because people have been selling off their Slayer gear to invest in items for the bxp weekend. There has been much speculation on it for the last month or so at least which may explain the big drop in August.

I also heard from a friend it's cause of the bots in Tzhaar place. And really, whenever i go there it's full of granite body, d med helm and d legs people (gold farmers?)

A number of reasons.

1). Since free trade the value of 1gp has rose quite a lot, resulting in prices of most items falling with it.

2). People are selling their expensive items to buy supplies for xp weekend. The sudden supply overwhelms the smaller demand and prices fall fast.

3). There has been a sudden surge of thzaar bots that go for uncut onyx's. I'd be suprised if bots actually get onyxs (If it were me i'd be buying a cheaper obby item so i could transfer the wealth incase my bot got banned) but i'm sure this has some sort of impact.

pfft, Jagex doesn't ban bots. Lets get real...

When is the last time you've been to Tzhaar's? There is easily over 20 bots at any moment per 10 square runescape blocks. And it has been like this for months.

Jagex do ban bots. Not often, but they do occasionally for publicity. Botters know this. So few will risk a potential few M worth of tokkul while going for an onyx when they could get money at any time to transfer instead.

So many of those bots will not get an onyx, but some will. And that's why it has some sort of impact, but not as many as you may think at first.

Jagex don't ban bots.

So a couple of those bots will not get an onyx, but almost all will.

Fixed.

You're not listening. I am not saying that jagex will ban a noticable number of bots, not at all.

What i am saying is that the bot users will not save up for an onyx over the fear of being banned. They could easily get an onyx's price in obby weapons and transfer it daily instead of take a huge risk of being banned with almost an onyx.
