Diomedus
Obviously a lot of people have been saving grown herbs either to sell or use for herblore xp. My plan was to sell my herbs and mort myre fungi gathered and hopefully earn enough for 92 or 95 prayer. I am wondering, since everyone will be looking to sell when the bxp weekend is announced, am I going to lose profit selling amongst the flood? or will there still be people buying up herbs to get their precious herblore xp? I would like to make enough money for 92 or 95 prayer, so another question is are dragon bones going to crash or spike? right now there are like 3k, which seems low. Should I cash out now or wait? Right now if i sold everything (herbs and fungi) and used all my cash, I could get 92, which is fine by me, I can get that and get 95 later. Also, I have a pair of ranger boots and a good number of herb seeds so I could re-grow the cash pile without difficulty. what do you think I should do? Star_Fox
Usually the prices won't take effect right after the BXPW announcement. So as of now, you can cash in and hope to make a little profit since the announcement was weeks ago.

I missed the initial rush, the first 3 days, then the prices started dropping. So, do i sell now or hope they go back up as the weekend gets closer? brad1431
I think it depends on the herb, I think people will be buying more of the herbs to make extremes because first people want to use those potions and second the ones who will level enough will need those potions for overloads, so I think they should be in high demand. I have pretty much only snapdragons, only a couple hundred of the other kinds, mostly from my own adventures or using up gathered herb seeds, the snaps i have a ton of and plan to sell, just wondering when I should, and same goes for the mort myre fungus War is not about who's right, it's about who's left
brad1431
just have a price in mind that you are happy with and sell for that amount. If you are trying to be greedy and maximize your profit, know that there is a risk that you will be stuck with all those snaps, if you only have them to sell, then come to grips with the current price and if you are happy with that, then sell... No one can predict the future and tell you what the prices will do for certain, but any money making method that is deemed to be the "best" money maker at a given time will then draw tons of people to do it and then the price plummets, until something else becomes a better money maker... and people will chase that method... so the price of snaps will continue to decline until there is a better option for most people, ie less than 85 farming, to farm... Noxx
You pretty much missed the initial rush. Things have already "crashed" as you noted. Best idea would be to put them in the G E now for a self-determined price (put them in at their normal price, or slightly above that) and see what happens by next week Monday, Tuesday at latest. If things are going to spike again, they would at least have started by then. If they don't go up again then you're either going to have to bit the bullet and put them in at a lower price or wait till a week or two after BXP Weekend until prices have settled down a bit and then put them in the G E. As for Dragon Bones. They've dropped from ~6k to ~3k over the last few months, mainly because of bots. As long as there are bots, D Bone prices will remain in its current region. So it's not really going to matter when you buy the bones. They should still be more or less the same price as they are now.
Gwasha
Personally I don't see how the prices will fluctuate that much when it's more publicly announced. This is the fourth (third?) BXP weekend: people have been preparing for it. The reason why the first [bleep]ed with the market so hard because it was so unexpected. Now that its a semi-annual deal everyone has been preparing for it. Most people already have [cabbage] in their banks for just this occasion. Not to mention people are getting smarter and are realizing they have plenty of time to buy stuff lol. (At a single time the demand is much less) In other words, there won't be as many people trying to buy items during the initial rush so I wouldn't expect some huge price fluctuation like the first time. And if I'm wrong it just means people are [developmentally delayed]ed and don't undertand simple economics...
