Onyx Ring (i)

Featured Replies

Is it worth upgrading my Dragonstone ring (i) to the Onyx ring (i)?

I mainly solo/duo Bandos and I have the required credits to imbue the ring but it only gives like +1 on all attack/defence bonuses.

Doesn't seem like a big improvement to me but I dunno.

Onyx (i) is only useful for Nex. Get 300 rank for the berserker (i). That's the useful ring.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Wouldn't Onyx (i) be better than Berserker (i) at Solo/Duo Bandos?

Bandos boss has high defence so the accuracy of onyx could be useful and also has defence bonuses.

No?

Onyx (i) is only worth getting over Dstone (i) when your bank allows it. It's not worth it buying an 11m ring when some of your other things could use upgrading. The extra +1 is meh.

Zerker (i) is best at Bandos. When wearing appropriate Solo/Duo setup you already have high enough attack bonus. Adding extra attack via the ring slot is overkill.

not to mention the fact that it doesn't give enough atk for it to be on par with the zerker at *any* level of enemy def.

Honestly, zerker is better for melee almost 100% of the time.

+8 strength vs +6 accuracy? Easy.

Only use for onyx is if you're bridding and don't have enough inventory space or time to swap rings from archer (i) to seers (i) to zerker (i)
