GulfKid
The best way to get a random event is to hold down your alt key and hit F4 while playing. Now stop with your theories.
NlCK
Best way i htink is if yourtraining after you get like 10k xp just alc something. works for me. Ha! I just remembered... everytime I'm training range I get a random as soon as I try and teleport. I tried it 4 or 5 times already and it's worked each time. I don't know if it has to do with getting a certain amount of exp or if you're there longer than 15 minutes is what triggers it. It's a half truth... which event you get and when the trigger is pulled is random, what triggers it is not. Jagex isn't stupid enough to tell you exactly how everything works... Don't you think that would be helpful for the autoers? I also think it's not an absolute thing.. i.e. if you pull the trigger they do not always send a random, and it may be at a somewhat unrealated time. qopitar
It annoys me that a minority of lazy arsh fools ruin it for everyone else! We all get treated like autoers now... :( I agree with that 100%. If the random events were more rare like say a mime random event, i wouldn't mind at all because not everyone would have that clothes. If you walk around varrock at any time about 80% of the people there in all lvl ranges have prince outfits on or frog heads. And to comment on the way to "get randoms more easily", there is no way to get them more thats why its called a Random event. There is nothing you can do except play normally. I disagree. I think we all agree that the purpose of the events is to prevent autoing. That said, I strongly believe that the likelyhood of getting a random increases depending on what you are doing. In the time I've played this game, I've done all sorts of things, but as soon as I started making bows in mass quantities and high alching, boom, I start getting randoms like never before. The "type" of event varies and when exactly it happens (on the 3rd bow or the 5000th bow) is unpredictable. These two factors account for the term "random" in "random event". Make no mistake though, the events occur when I am doing repetitive tasks that are popular among autoers. Just my personal observation, nobody knows for sure besides the people who code the game. Not all the time, but pretty often when teleporting from Karamja after fishing a full load, the teleport didn't work and there appeared some swarm or dwarf next to me. But all you have to do to get rid of those is press the teleport button again... That seriously doesn't stop autoers... dwarfie76
It's definately not 100% 'random'. There are most likely triggers built into it so that when your activities match proscribed criteria you increase your chances. I was at chaos druids yesterday and four times out of five trips I'd have a full inventory and hit the spell to tele back to fally - drunken dwarf.
