Syd
So simply, which one is faster agility xp? Recharging the horn or not recharging it? I have level 5 in all BA, and can do any role and usually land in good (all lvl 5 teams). I don't have any clan or many RS friends to play BA with, nor would I maybe have time to adjust my schedules around it. So charging the horn would involve finding teammates and such. I don't technically like BA "that much", nor do I find grinding agility that much worse. So the "fun" part issue is just a minimal. I'm only interested in the speed. Thanks (I do have master penance horn, obviously)

Noxx
it's going to depend on whether or not you're in a team. Filling the horn takes about 10 - 12 full rounds (the full 10 waves) which gives you between 100 and 120 waved to fill your horn. It's said that with a steady, decent team you can fill the horn in 5 - 6 hours. A full horn lasts for ~1.2m Exp.1.2m Exp takes about 20 hours of agility training @ 60k/exp an hour, which i would say is realistically achievable. With a full horn the same 1.2m exp is going to be achieved in 10 hours. This means for each full horn you would save yourself 4 - 5 hours on each 1.2m exp. This pushes your Exp rate upto 75k - 80k exp/h. So theoretically it should be worth it, but finding a team that would enable you to fill the horn in 5 - 6 hours is going to be a task of it's own. Biggest problem is that I'm not planning to play multiple hours straight, so landing a good team to save those hours doesn't sound very reliable. Atleast multiple times. I'll look into it. If I'll get bored to grinding agility, I'll get the horn charged. Thanks. :P
Sinkhan
Just consider if you enjoy playing BA more than doing straight agility. Even if you found an awful team and your XP gains turned out to be exactly the same, I personally would find it to be worth it since I find BA with a bad team to still be at least a teensy weensy bit more enjoyable than training agility. I've also heard of some good clans out there that consist of mostly good players, but you need rank 5 in most roles and have some penance equipment to show your own experience in the game. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Blyaunte
One word: "effigies". Frankly, unless you LOVE playing BA and/or want some of the other specific items from the mini-game itself, I cannot imagine that filling the horn would be, in any way, more efficient than either running courses or, say, using effigies. Personally, when "training" agility from 97 to 99, I simply found it more preferable to farm effigies ...

Tylon_Dragadon
A while back I was friends with a guy who was in a clan that would periodically go play BA, and he'd let me know when they were going. So every now and then I'd just go play a couple full games, so it wasn't as grindy and my horn lasted a lot longer (was using it with sc picks for mining) I recommend this method if you want to be casual about it. I may put something here eventually.
