firewrath
For the past few days .. more precisely just after the last RS update, fire spells such as fire blasts and other higher lvl fire spells arent that accurate or causing as much damage than they used to.Does this have something to do with the update? I have 66 mage and was able to hit frequently into the 160s now the max i can do is just 115 with fire blast. I have switched to earth blast where i max 172.My friends are also experiencing the same with fire surge. Is this a bug ??
Noxx
Maging still seems pretty much the same to me. I did a few floors yesterday and i didn't notice any difference.
jjjon123
Your not the only person to notice wierd things happening with mage. But there is no conclusive proof. There was atleast one other thread like this in GD. Did you notice this yourself? Or did someone mention something about it and you took the bait? 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! firewrath
No havent seen threads like this anywhere... I dung often (84 dung) and ive been maging there since a month. After the update my fire blasts wasnt as accurate nor did it hit as high as it used to prior to the update. I went with a couple of clan dungeons (mine's a dg clan) and even they had issues with fire blast.I heard from another clanmate that he was having issues with fire surge as well.I have switched to earth blast now .. pretty accurate and i max 172.. with 66 mage. .. And another thing I have noticed is that quite a lot of things are going slo mo .eg. while smithing the sparks appear for some time.the boss "Riftsplitters" attacks .. are visible for a much longer time than it has effect (I have a screenshot here)the Luminescent Icefiend's spl attack the ice falls for a longer time (slo mo). screenshot of the Riftsplitter

firewrath
theres a thread about this in general discussion ah found that thread.. But what about the slow motion stuff ? That makes the Riftsplitter boss so hard. I mage so I really can't know which areas are the unaffected ones and which areas are.For example, in my previous comment (look at the screenshot in the link) if u were in such a room, where would you run to?? But the fireworks on the anvil are interesting :shades:
