How should i use my range/melee brawlers?

Featured Replies

Hi. I have 4 range brawlers way back from BH and i've never used them, i'm wondering how i should go about doing that now.

I also have pair of melee brawlers. Same again.

Probably going to be best if you Chin Skeleton Monkeys with the Brawlers since there isn't really anything worth ranging in the wilderness. Unless you're willing to risk it you could try Cannon-Chinning Greater Demons at the Rev dungeon, but you stand a high chance of getting pk'd.

For Melee you could either use them on the Greaters and the Rev Dungeon or Dharok Skeleton Monkeys.

I was under the impression each 'charge' was reduced per hit and not xp or damage, so chinning would be one of the worst options, but i'm not sure on that.

And i was thinking i could pay a friend to stand in level 1 wilderness with me and let me wail on him (After he zammy brews to 1 defense) :P

You got me on that one. I was under the impression it worked per exp gain and not per damage.

I wouldn't even bother with anything but chinning for powertraining ranged, and even then it isn't worth it if you take into account that cannon and steel titan will stay with you forever even after 99 ranged.

For melee, you can cmaul revs or something.

Revs only give like 1/40th of the experience you get elsewhere though... Pretty awful. I think i'll just do hellhounds in the old BH area if i can't find someone for me to hit. And you're right about range, even with the brawlers i probably wouldn't get as much as red chinning, and it won't even be much cheaper either. Such a shame to waste them though...
