Zaaps1
yeah thats how i killed him, z spear and darklight, no familiar which explains why i failed so many times so if you arent stupid with your gear like i was, you shouldnt have a problem. i was at your stats, minus the turmoil. void, z spear, d boots, fury, berserker (i) ring, i guess reverance aura although auras dont make any difference at all really. and if you want to bring a crossbow and ruby bolts for when he does the max lp - 1 attack, you can. i personally didnt bother. you may also want to bring melee barrows for his final phase. again i didnt bother. dont forget your kyatt ~It's Super Effective! Powerfrog
Summon a war tortoise and fill it with rocktails before the fight. Have a kyatt and 100 ambush scrolls in the inventory. Once you've eaten 18 food, dismiss the tort and summon the kyatt. Now spam the hell out of the special. Melee void is brilliant there, but dhide (karils prefered) body and legs, with helm of nez and barrows gloves is perfectly fine. I've personally done it once with rapier and once with whip (Two seperate accounts), i found it easy with whip and d defender, and i'm not sure how spear compares to it in all honestly, but it's probably not much difference either way. Rest of your gear should be max strength (dboots, fcape etc...) I used all rocktails for food with 1 brew just for the defense boost and partially for healing fast after his full hp -1 attack (totally not needed, but nice to have) and finished with over 10 rocktails left on both accounts, both of which were worse than yours. (Soulsplit makes the fight a complete joke. You will need to eat much less often.) BGS is great for lowering his defense for the whole fight, but dds or claws is a great alternative for dealing heavy damage, especially in his final and most difficult stage. It's honestly a very easy fight to melee. The only 'tactic' you have to do is after he lays his mines, avoid stepping into them, and hide behind the pillar just until he runs upto you. Now attack him near the pillar until he goes to do his wrath attack, at this point you simply step behind the pillar and wait for him to run back, that and the pre-summoned full war tortoise and kyatt combo. Hope this helped.

Quyneax
Use rubies with the best ranged attack bonus+magic defence, or melee in void (which has both magic defence & melee offence, ideal). Soul split makes it easy, overloads would make it a walk in the park, so get some of those if you feel uncomfortable. Powerfrog
No protect prayer does anything against him, didn't you see that cutscene where he owned the mager? :P. Just melee him and use soulsplit + turmoil 24/7... Safe up if he ever gets you to about 600hp with rocktails. When he does his max-1 hp you obviously want to eat to over full hp. Turn off autoretaliate so you don't walk into the mines by accident, that got me my first time >.< Other than that, theres not much to say. He only hits about 350 at max, so you really shouldn't die unless you walk into a mine, are slow on the wrath hide, or run out of food.

Zaaps1
you dont strictly NEED to ss flash at that point, since you'd probably have your kyatt out so it would be doing lots of damage ~It's Super Effective! Zaaps1
you dont strictly NEED to ss flash at that point, since you'd probably have your kyatt out so it would be doing lots of damage seems to me like whip owns him more then z spear he's is stab weak, which is the justification of using z spear. whether or not its actually better is questionable. however i mentioned that i successfully beat him using a z spear just so the OP knows that it is a viable and successful option. ~It's Super Effective! Powerfrog
Grats on winning. And i beat him with a whip and dragon defender, piety, supers, 80's stats... And still had lots of food remaining. So yeah, whip is easily done. I think the main issue is using the kyatt or not. It does a lot of damage WHILE YOU EAT which is just invaluable. And it's suprisingly accurate.
