Baffler Posted October 7, 2011 Share Posted October 7, 2011 Heya, http://www.tip.it/ru...s_P2P_guide.htm That guide has a couple of sections which could do with updating/removing: Beware section: The Wilderness is just as lethal in P2P as it is in F2P. If you're new to RuneScape, be aware that dying in the Wilderness or elsewhere deprives you of all but the three most valuable (store price) items you are carrying or wearing. If you have entered the Abyss in the Wilderness, you get a "skull" floating above your head, and dying will deprive you of ALL of your items. This also occurs during bouts of Bounty Hunter, which is just as dangerous as in the free version. High level and P2P Wilderness areas also do not allow players to teleport out (not even Ring of Life or other enchanted jewellery teleports), so keep these dangers in mind. East Ardougne (west of the palace) has a "teleport lever" that transports you to the highest-level, exclusively members-only Wilderness area. Our 1.2MB Wilderness Map shows this area's features, which include an Agility course and the Mage Arena miniquest. When you die, your character will respawn in Lumbridge. However, members that meet certain requirements may set their respawn point to other cities. Members may also purchase gravestones which last longer than free to play gravestones. This entire section is a little bit outdated. It doesn't mention that the wilderness is a PvP area, it doesn't mention getting skulled for attacking an unskulled player, it mentions 'bouts of bounty hunter' and the death respawn point (was changed with the death hub update or something like that). Exciting stuff section: As a member, Al-Kharid's duel arena is expanded even more. You can enter yourself in Duel Tournaments, against up to 63 other players, for a chance to win up to 64 million coins. As in regular duels, no items are lost excluding your stake. Duel tournaments were removed when free trade was brought back if I recall correctly.
