October 16, 201114 yr I'm looking for movies to download or buy. I'm into basically anything but I'm looking for psychological thrillers or films about self-growth, self-realization... basically films where the main character(s) realize things about themselves or change their lives for the better/worse. I'm also very interested in drug-related films (not only 'stoner' films.) If you have anything to suggest please post. This is what I have so far: [hide] 127 HoursBlowFight ClubLimitlessPineapple ExpressSaltSmiley FaceThe Lincoln LawyerUnknown ScarfaceCrazy, Stupid, Love (Meh)Requiem for a Dream [/hide]

October 16, 201114 yr basically films where the main character(s) realize things about themselves or change their lives for the better/worse. That's part of character development, that happens in every film, unless it's an absolute [cabbage] film. Super 8 is a recent film that is a great example of character development. Everything Must Go, is another good one, Thor has good character development, and so does Green Lantern. I'd recommend Animal Kingdom too, it's one of my recent favorites.
October 16, 201114 yr Author Hancock's pretty good. I've seen Super 8 and didn't like it very much, but I'm downloading the others you suggested.
October 16, 201114 yr Have you seen 28 Days Later? Same director that did 127 Hours. "Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata... hiding amongst the candy... hoping the kids don't break through with the stick." - Master Tang
October 17, 201114 yr Author I've seen 28 Days Later a few times, I really liked it. I haven't seen Benjamin Button but I've read the short story. I'll check it out.
October 18, 201114 yr Have you seen Cool Hand Luke? It's an old movie, but the message lasts a lifetime.
October 19, 201114 yr *Cracks Fingers* 2001. Blade Runner. Shaun of the DeadDawn of the dead (1978)Night of the living dead. City LightsMetropolis The good The Bad and the UglySeven SamuraiPulp Fiction King Kong. 12 Angry MenApocalypse NowBack to the futureBig LebowskiButch Cassidy and the sundance Kid Days of HeavenDie HardEvil Dead, 2, and Army of Darkness. Goodfellas. Matrix. Memento Planet of the apesPsychoRaiders of the lost arcRear Window. Rocky. There's a bunch more, but those are personal films and not everyone would like them. If you do things right people won't be sure you've done anything at all.
