    Today...

Got my first paycheck at the new job today... Only 230$, and after I deposited it my account was frozen... but it's all good now. I bought some vitamin B complex tablets to see if it'll help with my fatigue + about 45$ of weed. I started talking to a girl on FB last night and now we're texting. I'll probably be chilling with her sometime this weekend, since I'm off for 3 days.

Good luck. Hopefully it's not awkward as hell. Did you tell her you cheated on her too?

    Today...

I've decided to only use weed to fall asleep until my first paycheck. I really need to remember I'm working to save for college + my car, not to be able to buy random shit... but I do need a winter coat... and a bigger TV..

  6. I've seen 28 Days Later a few times, I really liked it. I haven't seen Benjamin Button but I've read the short story. I'll check it out.

    Today...

Oh yeah... thirty minutes after getting the call telling me I got the job I got another call from the owner of the gas station I applied at for an interview tomorrow.

    Today...

I just got a call from someone I put as a reference when I went to the interview at that restaurant on Saturday. He said he just wanted to let me know that the owner called, then right as I hung up my phone rang again. It was the owner and I start tomorrow. I'm happy.
  9. Hancock's pretty good. I've seen Super 8 and didn't like it very much, but I'm downloading the others you suggested.
  10. The negative reputation fatness brings? Are you kidding me? I could care less what people think about girls I date, my opinion is what's important to me. I'm not attracted to overweight women, it's that simple. Also, she's told me that she's comfortable with her weight and that she will "never be skinny", which is good for her.
  11. With the progression of woman's rights came the freedom to wear whatever the hell they want. Trends and styles change, and jeans/pants are obviously popular at this time. I like it when girls I'm with wear skirts, shorts, jogging pants, yoga pants and sometimes dresses. Anything with easy access. ;)

    Today...

Where I live there are three small towns about 10 minutes away from each other, and each has a Tim Hortons. He owns all three.
  13. A few months ago I started seeing an old friend. She's intelligent, open-minded, honest, down to earth, easy to get along with, easy to trust, etc. She has a great taste in music, she plays several instruments, her family is rich and her parents are out of town a lot (not very important, but it's a plus.) She's talented in basically everything she does and we share similar dreams: to travel the globe and experience as much as possible. We get along very well and have deep, meaningful conversations... but I'm not physically attracted to her at all, so friends is all we'll ever be. She isn't ugly, she's actually beautiful: perfect skin, hair, teeth, eyes, etc., but she's always been overweight. As shallow as it may seem, that's the reason we've never been more than friends. We are close, but I can't be in a sexless relationship.
  14. I've learned from a pregnancy scare (or two) to be careful, and I do trust myself so I'm not worried. Marriage is another thing that will never happen, no matter what girls I meet. ;) One of my priorities in life is not to be slowed down by anyone. You might say "Well you never know, things change", but even if I would meet my definition of a 'perfect woman' I honestly would never resort to marriage for any reason. To each his own. :shades:

I actually didn't, I just put that I worked at Tim Hortons in x town on my resume and the owner of the gas station called him up. :P

    Today...

Yeah exactly. The owner is actually the pastry chef at the restaurant too. It would be such a big change to get hired there... the boss at my old job (Tim Hortons) was the biggest douchebag/creep imaginable. He would hit on the 15 year old girls he hired all the time and was as cheap as possible... I remember working once when a girl came in for an interview, I went and got Randy (doucheboss) and he came to the front, put his hands on her shoulders and looked down at her chest, then said "You're looking great, come into my office." It was hard to give my two weeks notice when I quit and not tell him off... I figured he could at least give me a reference for a future job, but I was wrong. A week ago, the owner of a gas station I applied at called him for a reference, and according to Randy I was always late for work, on weekends I always came in hungover, I didn't give two weeks notice before quitting and a bunch of other [cabbage]. Thankfully I have a friend that works at said gas station who explained that Randy is a 'tard, so all is well. I was actually getting a coffee two days ago in drive-thru at the store Randy owns and I saw him unloading things from his car. I rolled my window down and flipped him off as he looked directly at me. Felt good.
  17. I was actually talking to a friend about this today... If I were to ever have kids, I would want them to grow up to be completely independent. This doesn't mean I would neglect them, but I would definitely not 'baby' them. I would do my best to instill values at a young age, but at a certain point I would cut the leash and let them learn from their own mistakes. As an example, I would never give them a bedtime. Without being given strict times to sleep, they would decide for themselves, which gives them the opportunity to learn the simple lesson that 'if you don't sleep, you'll be tired as [bleep].' I would also ensure to educate them on things that can permanently damage their lives (breaking severe laws, addictions, whatever.) Strict parenting more often than not leads to dependance and the inability to solve problems on their own. I would help out my children if they needed it of course, but I wouldn't sit around making sure everything's alright all the time, except at a very young age. Also... if I ever have kids, it will be accidental.
  18. Très beau! Félicitation mon ami. [hide]Very nice! Congratulations my friend.[/hide]

    Today...

Yep, Canada. I was getting paid student wage at my old job, which is 9.60$ here, and I thought that was bad. :P
  20. I'm looking for movies to download or buy. I'm into basically anything but I'm looking for psychological thrillers or films about self-growth, self-realization... basically films where the main character(s) realize things about themselves or change their lives for the better/worse. I'm also very interested in drug-related films (not only 'stoner' films.) If you have anything to suggest please post. This is what I have so far: [hide] 127 Hours Blow Fight Club Limitless Pineapple Express Salt Smiley Face The Lincoln Lawyer Unknown Scarface Crazy, Stupid, Love (Meh) Requiem for a Dream [/hide]
