Tansuo
I think the fastest xp/points is doing duradel/lapalok then every 10th task going to kuradel.Or you could simply just do kuradel non stop as she gives fewer annoying tasks than duradel/lapalok and in general, her tasks are easy to get to as theyre right in her slayer cave | | | A Blog to Bathtubs for BeginnersQuest Cape | 99 Defence Achieved 11-Jul-2011 17:41 | 99 Prayer 11-Jul-2012 | 99 Constitution 02-Aug-201299 Attack 31/10/2012 | 99 Dungeoneering 31/10/2012 | 99 Strength 31/10/2012 | 99 Magic 2/12/201299 Range 16/12/2012 | 99 Herblore 25/12/2012 | 99 Summoning 4/1/2013 | 99 Firemaking 6/3/201399 Farming 10/4/2013 | 99 Slayer 11/7/2013 | 99 Fletching 21/8/2013 | 99 Smithing 22/8/2013 99 Crafting 19/12/2013 | 99 Cooking 15/1/2014 | 99 Agility 25/1/2014 | 99 Thieving 01/02/201499 Construction 21/04/2014 | 99 Woodcutting 04/03/2014 | 99 Fishing 17/04/2014 | 99 Mining 23/07/201599 Divination 27/07/2015 | 99 Runecrafting 20/08/2015 | 99 Hunter 20/08/2015 | Maxed 20/08/2015
Magnavox87
Slayer helmet is only some things combined with a lil stat boost. So just take Duradel or Lapalok. Higher lvl monsters good drops and most xp

DarkSano
O_o how did you max combat melee with such low slayer lol
transcript80
You could use maczna for every 1-9th task (short, easy, fast), and cash in the points bonus at the highest slayer master at your disposal for the bonus 10th task. That gives a nice amount of points rather fast. As for the helmet per se, a black mask (no requirements) is enough if you only melee. You probably don't need the extra stats the helm provides if you are maxed combat. If this is the case, use the best slayer master you can, and the points will come as you progress through the skill. Troacctid
Slayer helm is only important for dust devils and aberrant spectres, where you can't use a black mask. And it's really not important for specs either, if you're cannoning them with deflect mage. Outside of those tasks (and wall beasts or banshees, which are only assigned by lower slayer masters), you're only missing out on a few defensive bonuses, which are nice to have but certainly not necessary. You're better off prioritizing slayer rings, which are more useful overall--you can't do terror dogs without them; the teleports are useful for speeding up tasks like Goraks, Abby Specs, Kalphites, and Waterfiends; and they actually have uses outside of slaying (fastest access to morchella mushroom planting, fastest way to buy broad arrowheads/bolt tips, fastest access to Temple Trekking pre-Branches of Darkmeyer, fastest access to Glacors...etc).
