I've been avoiding summoning but have decided to finally level it cause my stats are getting close to bossing. Figured summoning would be a good advantage. But have no clue what is the best way to level and the closest summoning obilisk or however ya spell it to make pouches. Any advice and or help would be greatly appreciated.

What charms do you have right now?

 

I would suggest dumping from xp from stuff like penguins/lamps/troll invasion/JoaT into summoning for a bit to get it to a point where you can make decent and worthwhile pouches. Getting it to 57 unlocks Spirit Kyatts, which gives you access to one of the fastest and easiest methods for pouch making as well as a few pouches that are decent xp/charm.

The fastest method for you would be to do the Love Story quest to access the chipped teleport tabs. Make a bunch of Taverly tabs and use them to teleport to Taverly and run over to the obelisk. To be honest, at low summoning levels, just use all of the gold and green charms you get, but save the blues and crimsons. Make the highest level gold/green charm pouch that you can.

Stay AWAYYYY from expensive secondays

 

Use gold charms first,--->green charms ---->crimson charms ---> blue charms

This allows you to get the most exp out of your charms

 

And i would suggest training your summ when you have your desired amount of charms.

If you dont have any desire, aim for 500/500/500/100 gold/green/crim/blue

1-57, teleport to falador and walk to the obelisk in taverly. The trips are a little long, but you won't need many to reach level 57.

 

57-99 use a spirit kyatt's teleport which takes you right next to an obelisk and makes trips very very fast.

 

Only train summoning when you have the charms to reach a useful level. For example, i'm level 79 (elemental titans) at the moment and have the charms for 86, but i'm saving until i can get 88 because theres nothing i would use until then, and it would be a waste of money that i can use for more important things.

^^ Great calculator for the exact pouches to make. Just make sure it doesn't recommend anything too expensive or miss something out. (It doesn't recommend war tortoises, but at times these can actually be very profitable to make)
