Never seen that, could u explain a bit more, might just be a bug :)

When you die and are carrying a strange box it takes up the entire square of the floor. That's it.

And it is also 2d, and looks like a floor panel, not an item.

thats cool, when i get a strange bow im going to go die with one and see what happens. lol. i really need something better to do. lol

Just a strange box when you die. Happened to me before in a DM. Got a old man he gave me a box, I ended up losing it, went back and talked to the guy who won, and my box was on the floor looking like that :P

maxed out melee back in 06, when it was still considered an accomplishment. same with getting 85 slayer, was in the top 2k players to get it.

And it doesn't seem like the kind of thing where you could see it if somebody else drops it. That's certainly an alternative to solving 30 strange boxes though ... just die with them.
