How do you clean up line work? Also what kind of shading would i need if my light source is behind me?

Make the sun more of a circle, not an egg. Yeah, proportions, I suggest drawing him with a pencil and paper first and get everything down, then draw pixel. Make the black line(seperating the water from the sky) a color inbetween the sky and water color. shading, try some shading in the design.

The dude's head looks small. :shock: How about some shadding?
