The Moriquendi is celebrating its 5 year anniversary today. We are one of the few clans that started from the ground up, a rarity these days. When the clan was founded back in 2004, we had no combat requirements and a clan average in the 30s. Our 'wars' had turnouts of 5-6 people in a scattering of mith and d'hide, the highest combat in the 40s. We used a proboards forum. Mori has come a long way since then, eventually pulling 60-70 people regularly to wars and achieving an 118+ F2P combat average at our peak. The clan landscape has changed dramatically from what it used to be; there have been ups and downs, but what we lack in rank climbing power and maxed ops we make up for in longevity and community. Over the course of the past 5 years many friendships have been made and transcended beyond the game itself. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the thousands of people who have passed through our doors, met us in the wilderness, and helped contribute to what we are. To be honest, I have played Prince of Persia once in my life, embarrassingly under the tutelage of my friend's 8 year old brother >.<, so I have no clue who you're talking about. Was going with a medieval-ish theme, but decided more on an Asian theme because I found photos from when I went China last year to visit relatives. They're on my deviantart account (site seems to be down now?). Uni is beating me to a pulp right now, so I won't have time to do much til this weekend.

My graphics tablet died. I miss the days of speed painting :(

Photoshop with the pencil tool on 1px. Simply because I'm comfortable with the program and layers really help.

Work on your man's proportions. His head is WAY too small for that body. Also, try cleaning up your line work a bit.

she* ;) I'll get some more depth once I figure out what landscape will be in the background. Any suggestions? I don't want this to become too glaringly colorful/tacky, so no fields of flowers with a blue sky and happy sun and clouds.

Once I figure out what is behind those windows (night/day, maybe scrap the windows altogether and slap in a fireplace), I'll start defining the shading a bit more.

I started on a pixel sig, which turned into a much bigger project. Anyways, it's not pure pure pixel. Just my personal style, which I prefer because it's a bit softer than hard dots. I'm extremely detail oriented, which is why I never went into the sig making business. Sorry stevepole, but I gotta comment on you sig....it would be a lot better without the 'the end' part all black. And shouldn't it be 'let's see ME do this with you watching'?
