December 1, 201114 yr I have 99 range, and 86 Def, and am looking to start staking on Non-Members with Range. What would be the ideal setup? Would the gear change depending on whether I was vsing Melee or Ranger opponents? So far I was thinking: Rune Full HelmRune Platebody (Would rune chainbody be better?)Green d'hide ChapsGreen d'hide Vambraces (would Rune gauntlets be better?)Swanky BootsAmulet of PowerRing of Devotion Maple shortbow (Im guessing this is the ideal range weapon for f2p)Adament Arrows Anyways suggestions? Looking for someone to teach me how to Armadyl farm - pm me10,200th Person to Achieve 99 Magic on 1/10/08
December 1, 201114 yr If you're looking to make money, you can only stake a max of 40k in F2P. Regardless, Doodle has the best set-up above. No one will stake using mage, and even if they do, I think you'd still win with that set-up. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~
December 1, 201114 yr It's an accuracy vs defense thing. The "Best Setup"Depends entirely on what you're going up against. maybe if you list your opponent's offensive and defensive setup, then I could tell you what is best for you.I'd want to know skill levels too.
December 1, 201114 yr If you're staking with armour, LB sight is a must, especially if the opponent is wearing rune. December 1, 201114 yr Well, if your accuracy will be close to 50% all of the time, the best setup is the highest combined total of ranged strength, ranged attack and ranged defence (for a ranged vs. ranged stake). Trouble is that that assumes weapons of equal speed so you have to account for that as well.
