Best method to solo Corp?

87 defense

80 range

I just want one kill, to say i've done it. Currently have about 40m bank.

 

I wanna know if you think it's possible, what gear to use, what inventory to use and any other special bits of advice. I'd really rather not buy a SWH or VS. (I don't have dreadnips but i can get them if absolutley needed, wanting to quest first so i get all bosses done in the first 500 kills, but no biggie.)

As far as gear goes, you're look at ganodermic, zspear, etc. If you have a div, use than and punch him with goliaths or something. 1 Ovl should do it, rest of your inv should be your spec weapon (swh/bgs/darklight) and brews/restores, most likely in a 3:1 or a 4:1 ratio. You can try to set up a cannon, but it'll probably get destroyed before it makes up for the 5 inv spots you lose.

 

When you actually kill him, it's a lot like normal corp, except you have to ss a lot more. Pray melee when he's attacking you, and switch to ss 1 tick before you attack then switch back to melee. Brew as necessary, and good luck.

I managed it using:

Ganodermic top and legs, nezzy helm, zs, bgs (Do a few specs before you kill, use CRUSH for the spec)

Dboots, barrows gloves, ardy 3/4, fury etc...

bring 6 restores, 2 spec rests, overload (4) and the rest brews.

You can drink a dose at the bank to save space, as for killing, try and time you hits so you hit just after corp, allows soul split flashing, andonly Bgs spec when your stats are maxed!

Another neat thing is style swapping, if you don't need to soul split, be on defensive when corp hits, and the mixed style when you hit, an extra 2 defense levels does help a fair amount!

Do you mean it's possible to spec corp, leave, spec, leave, spec... And it will lower his defense? I've always assumed this would be boosted back to normal just like his HP, but i have no idea truthfully.

 

By the way i tried and failed miserabley in karils for a quick test :P Since then i've bought ganodermic and if this spec thing works, it should be a lot easier.

No his stats stay lowered, that's how all the pros afk corp and stuff :P
