Gaming Mice Feedback

Recommended Posts

I'm playing SWTOR a lot lately and I'm looking for a gaming mouse. I really like the Razer Naga and I just ordered it, but I've heard a lot of good things about the Logitech G500.

So, what do you guys prefer? My main draw to it is binding abilities to the mouse.

I have the Logitech G500.. and I play SWTOR! :P I haven't used it to its full gaming extent yet (which will probably make this post not very helpful) but I can say it's a really great and comfortable mouse. No complaints :P

Logitech is definitely the one I would choose. And this is coming from someone that has used both high end of Logitech and Razer. My friend also says the same.

The Razer Naga for me, i've tried the G500 but The naga is a lot more compatible to me and suited to my play style.(i always use a lot of keybinds in mmo's)

I'll be buying a new one soon for when i finally pick up Sw:tor.^^

I personally use a Logitech MX518. It's pretty much just a slightly different style of the G500 without the weights option/missing two of the programmable buttons but it's really comfortable. The Razer Naga looks kind of uncomfortable to use, but it might just be something that you have to get used to over time.

It looks less ergonomic than it really is. The right side is contoured so that your ring finger rests in the contour and your pinky wraps around the side. The buttons are easily hit with my thumb and the only ones I really have to try to hit are 10-11-12. The scroll wheel is nice and the wheel, numbers, and razer logo are backlit blue. The software you download includes macro recording and dpi up to 5600. I've always owned logitech but I'm starting to like this product. The best part about it all is the cord, I've hated corded mice for one reason and that's tangling and the cord getting bunched up and in the way. Razer's cords are braided and do not tangle.

I guess the pictures just don't do it justice then, especially since it has braided cords which I really wish would become a standard for a lot of wired tech.
