Coming back from a long break

So, I'm thinking about getting back to Runescape after about 2 years. I haven't followed any news nor forums related to this game so I'm a little confused about all the new stuff in the game and I was thinking if you could help me out with a few questions. Only thing I've heard that there is no more trade limit, which is obviously a great thing.

First of all, what items should I get immediately in p2p? I've got around 50m in cash, yet no items in bank except fighter's torso and rune defender. My stats are below.

Which quests are a must do? I've done only those which a group of friends of mine suggested when I last time came back from a longer break.

What kind of are the prices in p2p items? So have I been left behind in economy if I got that ~50m in bank and my combat around 115.

From what I've read today and yesterday from different forums, I've noticed that botting is getting even more popular around the community. Does it make any sense to start playing again if I don't have any kind of interest of botting?

Is there a clan chat sort of thing for Tip.it since playing this game is much more fun with friends/someone to talk to?

Should I train some specific skill in order to get a huge improvement on armour/weapons I can wield? Last time I got my defence up from 1 to 75 and made this account my main character thus some(almost all) of the non-combat skills are low.

And lastly, dungeoneering? What is that? Is it easy to train and what are the advantages of it?

There is a summary of what you might have missed

Dungeoneering is the only thing that's keeping me playing runescape I think its an amazing skill, really fun, unlocks some of the best weapons in the game and is useful, you should definitely get it up

Exp is a tad slow up until around level 70's then the exp rate jumps quite a bit and so does the fun.

I don't know where you heard your botting information...

My tip to you, do quests and dungeoneering, see what you like, get back into the game slowly, it is a great way to round your character off stat wise and understand the game better.

Thanks for the link, really helpful. I'm gonna try out the dungeoneering right after getting a proper pvm-gear. Which gear should I get that is fairly cheap, around 25m max maybe, but also effective?

Oh, and about the bots. I've read various threads on 4chan/other chan-like type imageboards, which obviously have a high ratio of botting. Maybe that just exaggerated it for me.

In your case barrows will have to do, should you consider seriously pvm for money/bosses/ or even most high end combat, you should work towards 92 herblore(overloads + extremes) 95 prayer (turmoil + soul split) and 96 summoning for Uni and Yak. The addition of those will make you able to fight most bosses single handedly easily.

Dungeoneering is a good place to start but dont get intimidated by it at first. it will feel awkward and slow. try to keep an open mind about strategys for floors.

I think it's appropriate to add some progress info of my return. Bought p2p and right off got a gear: whip, torso, torag's legs, dragon boots, berserker helm, obsidian shield (noticed that I had dropped/lost my fire cape), amulet of fury and zerk ring and barrows gloves. Right off got a dragon defender, which is a huge improvement on rune defender.

Then I went off and tried some dungeoneering which was quite slow at the beginning but when I got the hang of it, it became much easier (and much, much more fun, definitely going to train that again later on). Now having dungeoneering 14.

Currently doing some slayer. Feel free to add me on RS, it seems like 99% of everyone on my friends have either quit or removed me from their friend's list. So it would be nice to have someone to talk to.

Almost forgot. What are those prefixes on peoples names e.g. Sir <insert a name> or Lionheart <insert a name>?

Some notes from the changes. The graphics are just way, way better than they were. The exp counter on the upper side of your screen is excellent as is the exp you get showing on your character. The money bag is a great update too. Did the money dropped by mobs increase by a wide margin? I remember getting a lot less.

Most prefixes are from the Loyalty Points update, which gives an increasing amount of points, based on how many consecutive months you have membership. You can buy the titles in addition to plenty of emotes and purely cosmetic clothes. The best to spend it on though is some of the auras - which are a new slot item that can be activated for various boosts, though they have a cooldown time - specifically the Jack of all trades, which requires you to gain xp in 10 different skills in under 3 hours (lol can easily be done in under 3 minutes). The reward is an xp/book that gives ~8k experience to any skill at lvl 90. Has a cooldown of 24 hours.

A couple other prefixes are from Mobilising Armies and wearing full set of vyre clothes.

Working on max and completionist capes.
