Range of Fire Surge and Polypore Staff

Featured Replies

Is the range of the polypore staff equal to that of fire surge? Will I encounter much troubles solo maging rex with a PPS instead of fire surge?

The range of the Polypore staff is considerably shorter (6 squares on accurate) than Fire Surge (10? squares). Long range increases the Polypore staff by one square.

What would be a good 1-spot alternative for luring rex then?

If you just need to lure rex into pps range you could use wind rush.

Use arma storm at dks and he dies in like 7 casts

Yeah... use either polypore or storm at DKS.

Polypore more or less the same damage output as fire surge, at a fraction of the price

Storm is about double the damage output of fire surge, at the same price

I had no intention of using anything other than PPS >_<' All I wanted to know were suitable luring methods due to the fact that PPS has shit range.

Bah, excuse my fit. I'm grateful for the help. Just pet peeves and whatnot.

PPS is fine for luring rex, but if you don't want prime on you then you just have to go as far southeast as you can without letting supreme hit you
