konrad112 Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Hi all, First post here :) Very recently re-discovered runescape again (woot) as something to do after work/gym in the evening. bored of games like wow because they involve too much thinking to be truly relaxing haha :P I've decided to try and up my range level from 70 to 80 because i know its a major key in attaining a fire cape which was always a goal of mine when i originally played. I've recently smithed myself 20k cannon balls, and i need something to use them on, along with something to use myself. I have about 8k iron knives left in my bank from whenever ago that it was i last did range (many years) so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of places i could go to burn through these cballs (and knives or something else) Im ideally looking for somewhere that i can get a combination of reasonable drops and good xp/hr. I originally had the idea of blue dragons and burying the bones for prayer and then taking some nats to alc anything that dropped. But that was only because I'm eventually looking to raise my prayer too, but i can find other methods for that. For now my main focus is my range level. If its of any relevance i also have about 4mil to play with, id rather not have to use much or any of that, as i spent most of my money making the cballs already.My reasons behind the cballs are my own, i don't care if you don't think it was a wise investment, or if i should sell them and use something else, i enjoyed smithing them and i intend to use them. Squakus Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 If you have done Branches of Darkmeyer, you will be able to kill vyrelords with blisterwood stakes. The xp/hr is relatively high and if you collect the corpses you can burn them for ~5-10k loot per corpse, though every couple hundred you will get a god page. As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero. Ensure you are not a social situation. Look into obtaining any of these: arcane stream necklace, polypore staff, ganodermic poncho and leggings, mage's book/arcane spirit shield, overloads/Vecna's skull and magic potions. MyWorldHero Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 With so many cannonballs, I would suggest just going slaying with either melee or range, and cannon as many tasks as you can. It wont be as fast as some stuff (chinning and such) but you already have the balls, and it beats camping. Thanks haha :) well I'm already 77 so ill find a way to get it up a little more, might actually motivate myself to finally finish of DT and get ancients haha :P Also thanks for the other advice, I tend to enjoy slayer, so ill probably do that.
