Melee training on a pure. No prayer.

Just curious as to how pures can train melee efficiently.

60 attack. 70 strength. 1 defense. 31 prayer.

About 10m to blow, although could be upwards of 100m if theres a significant advantage to do so.

I want locations + gear suggestions. Estimated exp/hour would be very appreciated. Don't really care about profit, but i don't want anything that has a rediculously high cost.

Ughhh... Really? I seriouslly hate crabs. 500hp just isn't enough to be worth running around uncovering them.

Aren't there any good magic attacking creatures to fight? With 80 (eventually 99) magic i have 56% (eventually 70%) of the defense a maxed main would have.

Thanks for the gear recommendation though, basically what i already have except the cape.

Monk robes are best for prayer?

Well if your interested in charms at all Red Spiders arent bad. I've used them before. The ones under Edge, bring some pots and food, you might not do as well with only 70 strength. Try to think outside the box, remember B2P, if you have money to blow then B2P opens up a lot of different spots that pures can't normally consider. Zammy monks in the Chaos Tunnels used to not be bad. Khazard Troop are another decent gold dropper if your willing to pay attention as they die quickly.

I've been thinking.

Would troll invasion be a viable training source with dragon claws (Or even DDS)?

You use 2 (or 4) attacks and then heal to full via the table, so i can't see the defense even being an issue. And it's brilliant xp on a main. (Easily 150k/hour total xp maxed)

My pure isn't members at the moment, and doesn't have 60 attack, so can someone with a 1 defense account try this out, without using protection prayers.

Thankies!
