Silver Eros
You can't remove an item on the toolbelt.
Quest_Cape_K
I think that Jagex updated it so that if you have the levels to do barbarian fishing then you will use the bare-handed method.
Sy_Accursed
There is some condition or other that makes you do it bare-handed. No idea what though, think it might be 90+ fishing or something. All the high level fishers I know, myself included, always do bare-hand even with full toolbelt. JeRambo
EDIT: Misread the original posters question, sorry. :P "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." Sy_Accursed
Bare-handed fishing requires that you do more of barbarian training. You could always bring another harpoon with you, then start fishing. How would carrying an extra harpoon achieve anything? Also I believe you missed the point of the thread. The issue was the game choosing to use the harpoon on the tool belt opposed to doing bare-hand, not unlocking bare-hand. Weiyao
I'm not sure what your problem with it is? As far as I can tell, I automatically bare-hand fish when harpooning (this was when I was sub 60 fish too) unless I also had a harpoon with me, in which case I would use the harpoon. Obviously a harpoon would negate these effects. The answer to the question was given in the third post.I think that Jagex updated it so that if you have the levels to do barbarian fishing then you will use the bare-handed method. If you aren't barehanded fishing automatically, it means you're missing the required level for it.
