Noxx
How do the two compare in terms of Exp per Hour? Dropping seems to be a lot slower because i keep on having to interrupt the Mining animation. Is this true, or was i just having some bad luck? Majinvegito3
I would think dropping would be faster, especially if you use mousekeys to help with that. Personally I stranded myself in Living Rock Caverns for the majority of my high level Mining. [YouTube] [Twitter]
Quyneax
I think alching is faster as there's a lot less opportunity to mess up. Aslan
I remember seeing a video on youtube about this. The guy playing had resizeable on and moved the inventory around so it'd be a few cms away from the gold deposit. He'd drop and click on the deposit in less than a second. Arceus
Unless you can low alch and mine at the same time, I would presume dropping would be faster, if you're fast. Even without mousekeys, it's not difficult to drop to drop ores from the bottom 8 spaces of your inventory in a couple seconds if you are playing on fixed size (right click the one on the second to top row, click "Drop," and then quickly right-click and left-click and the second will drop). It's a little difficult to describe in words. If you're only mining two or three rocks and not a deposit, then dropping is definitely faster, as you can dropping while waiting for ore to respawn. Hedgehog
Low alching doesn't interrupt mining and it's also less apm.
Jadinko
Low alching doesn't interrupt mining and it's also less apm. If you use mousekeys and juju, it's pretty afk and imo much easier to maintain for long periods of time. Ask if you need a video guide on mousekeys.
