Dire_Wolf
Ok, i don't got OVLS but i want to do Glacors with Extreme pots.Is this still good? I am also pretty OK with prayer switching. Will extreme pots and regular prayer pots etc be good enough to do decent amount of Glacors kill?I don't want to kill 50+, i want to just kill at least 10 easily, and teleport and bank and repeat. Thanks!
Quyneax
"good", define good :P. You will need a few more boosting pots (strength and magic only, attack isn't so useful, glacytes have 0 defence). Bring about 6 extreme magic (4) and 3 extreme strength (4), repot magic every other kill, strength every 4 kills. Should still be 40ish kph (48 kill trip). Thanks! Using extremes as opposed to ovls just means you will need to repot more frequently and drink a separate pot for glacytes. If your technique isn't good, extremes/ovls won't help you. Dire_Wolf
I don't got 1 OVL, and don't got cash for it. And it would be pretty expensive to try it with BXP coming up.Hence why i am and will use Extremes and Vecna.
Quyneax
I got vecna skull :) Anything else that i will need to survive?I'd recommend Vecna's *only* as backup, extreme mages are still required. Without them you will lose 15-20% kill speed. You need soul split flashing to survive, when you start out maybe also a unicorn, as you get better an iron/steel titan to kill the glacytes is nice. You think i have a good chance of earning 100m in a week at Glacors with the things we've discuessed?
Quyneax
It should be 2-3m/hr profit so unless you play a lot, no, but your chance should be as good as anywhere :P. I hope Glacors will bring me 2-3M profit as you think it will. I sure need cash :) I am again not bad at prayer switching, though i may have to train on soul split flashing. But Glacors attack is a bit slow isn't it? Quyneax
Glacors are a bit like Jad in that you can switch prayers according to their animations. They fire an icycle or a ball of light (ranged and mage respectively) and you can change protect prayers while the missile is in the air, instead of when it is fired like with every other monster. I guess i am not a "effective" player because i cba with OVLS or changing to rapier/Whip (defender + void). And so far it works pretty OK. Sure it's slow, but at least it's ok. I got a Ragefire boots not long ago. Thanks again Q. P.S Annoying to cancel auto cast and switch to melee wep. Wish they changed that.
Squakus
I got a Ragefire boots not long ago. Have boots become more common? I spent tons of time at glacors a bit over a month ago and didn't get a single one... <_< P.S Annoying to cancel auto cast and switch to melee wep. Wish they changed that. It would be nice if your autocast was canceled when you switched to a melee wep, would be useful in dung too.
