March 6, 201214 yr Does one get more exp from a higher tier mining plot? And with the update would it be worth me joining a clan to get the mining bonus? I'm currently clanless and have no interest in joining a clan, but if the mining exp and ring is worth the time spent at the citadel, I would consider it.
March 6, 201214 yr I think it does every so slightly increase xp, a few percent overall, to have a higher tier plot (seem to remember it from my clan's week at tier 2, lol). I would 100% not join a clan if you do not feel like it, but if you find a clan you like it's probably worth it if you want some afk decent mining xp. March 6, 201214 yr Author Do you have any estimates on the exp per hour? If the difference isn't too bad I'd join a clan that I currently only visit with, they're not too large so I wasn't sure if I'd join a bigger clan or not.
March 6, 201214 yr I have no experience with any plots but mining/woodcutting firsthand and I never tested xp/hr (so take this with a grain of salt). Someone told me that at level 99, they got about 50k xp/hr at those plots pre-boost. The boost is supposedly 45%, so that's pretty good overall. The clan ring will then add a bit more xp as well. March 7, 201214 yr I know the crafting plot has pretty generous xp rates, especially considering that its free (once you are in a clan with t5 citadel), but I don't know much about mining. Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
March 7, 201214 yr Author Smithing and mining are my biggest concerns right now, though I have heard good things about the crafting plot! I'll probably dabble in them all and see what's best.
