A lot of people like gp. I guess not enough people were willing to contribute to such a fund. and i guess there are problems with that - like people fudging data for money :P.

Ya, false data is probably the worst thing that could happen.

While people are checking the activation rates, could it be possible to also gauge the goliath gloves' accuracy too? We know it essentially functions as a +82 strength weapon, but there don't seem to be any surety on its functional accuracy. I was just assuming it was the same as a whip, seeing as it has the same strength, but I've begun to wonder, perhaps it's higher? It generally seems to hit more often than a whip, but that may be because it attacks with crush instead of slash and I've generally been fighting opponents with less crush def than slash without realizing it.

I'll test them out at the decaying avatar in DT. How many hits should I do to get a good estimate on activation rate?

accuracy seems like it would be tricky given that it will change as the fight goes on due to the lowering defense spec?

You can do 1k data points at full def (getting as close to 50% accuracy as possible). Then you can do the same at x specials.
