Lord Paul
Welcome to the forums! I've moved your topic to H&A since it is more suited here. Overloads don't exist in RSC, so I'm guessing that you accidentally posted it in the wrong forum. If you really did intend to ask about Classic, then ask me to move it back. If you are going for overloads, you'll want to make extremes even though they are pretty expensive. I think Sara brews are your best bet until you hit the untradeable pots. JeRambo
Welcome to the forums. Extreme magic potions were extremely cheap last I checked, as well as super antifires.Super energy are relatively cheap as well, and around 150k xp/hr. Herblore spreadsheet. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." "An imperfect man can do great deeds, and a great man imperfect ones. Lord Paul
For clarification, are you interested in 99 herblore, or just 90? Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
Sy_Accursed
81>90 you want to make extremes, regardless of cost. Say (for simplicites sake) each extreme costs 1m per 1k pots. The cheapest training method is 500k per 1m xp. Then say 81>90 is 5m xpDo 1k of each extreme = 5mDo 5k of the cheap method = 2.5m BUT Extremes are untradable.Do the cheap method and you do have the level to make overloads but need to spend a lot more money to actually make any overloads.Do the extremes and you have the level and the majority of the supplies for overload making with torstols being the only remaining cost. So say you wanted 1k overloads and 1k torstols cost a further 1mExtremes method: You've done 1k each of the 5 extreme pots for 5m, pay 1m more for 1k torstols. That's 1k overloads for 6m.Cheap xp method: You've spent 2.5m. You now have to spend 5m to make the 1k of each extreme pot and 1m on torstols. That's 1k of overloads for a total cost of 9.5m Of course I am using vastly simplified numbers for the sake of a clear example, but the principle applies when you do the real thing. In the 81>90(or 99) range doing extremes results in lower cost long term than opting for cheap xp as it produces the xp AND something useful. Opposed to producing ONLY xp and then having to invest again anyway to get the actual overloads.
