jddogg
So i'm currently lvl 5 summoning only and have been slaying while saving up charms... Currently have 6k gold, 5k red, 5k green, 1k blue. Approximately how far do you think that will take me? Also. Anyone have any clue how much money it would cost for 5-68 summoning? Thanks in advance for any help :]
Lord Paul
well, you'll want to save the crims and blues for the higher levels.. I'll whip up a general guide in a few. Not much, but this is a general idea. Only chose relatively cheap options that gave good xp.. you should pretty much use up all of your greens/golds before you start crims.. save blues as long as you can. jddogg
Any idea on the costs for 5-68 summoning or how far i will get with what i have?
Lord Paul
You could get easily get 68 for under 5m, probably closer to 3m. As for how much experience those charms will give, that's not an easy question, because there are so many different options based no what you are willing to spend. Komodo_Jo
I went ahead and used the summoning planner to get an idea of what you could get with those charms, and this is what I came up with: Gold:100 Dreadfowl50 spirit spiders100 thorny snails1750 granite crabs2000 bull ants2000 spirit terrorbirdsGreen:4000 ibis1000 fruit batsCrimson:1000 stranger plants500 phoenix4500 praying mantisBlue:1000 lava titans Result: Level 85 summoning! :shades: 1.8 mil shards used (45 mil gp at 25 gp per shard) (This doesn't factor in the cost of secondary ingredients of course) I basically just went with using the gold > green > crimson > blue charms in that order, picking things for a balance of reasonable price/usefulness/good xp. Depending on what pouches you actually end up making you could wind up with a higher or lower ending level. The price would take a bit to calculate, as it would totally depend on what pouches you make. Some secondary ingredients are under 100gp each, while others are 5k+ each, and others you can actually make money making the pouches but the seconds for those are generally untradeable so you'd have to gather them yourself. Basically, just start looking over the summoning guide/planner and start playing around with what pouches you want to make. Then add up the number of shards that will take and then the value of all the seconds and there's your cost (not counting trading in pouches for shards or selling pouches or whatnot). Bottom line: Start training your summoning ASAP! You can get quite a nice level with the charms you already have, and summoning will more than pay you back for the cost it takes to train! Good luck! :) EDIT: Just realized I plugged in an extra 1k crimson, so you wouldn't get to 85 with this setup. Still, you'd definitely get to 80+ #-o [hide=Drop List]Barrows items: 65+Barrows double item chests: 4 (2 in one night!), Triple Item Chests: 1 --->None of these came from "double loot" eventsDragon Drops: 4 skirts, 5 legs, 5 left halves, 18 med (7 - barrows, 9 - KBD, 2 - M. Platinum_Myr
I would use a combination of green and golds, trying to max xp/charm. I would save blues until geysers, if possible. I would focus on getting up to 68 for bunyip, and the spirit kyatt. The kyatt allows you to use charms much faster, which is always nice. I would avoid using blues until you can do geyser titans. (Buy the pouches you need that have blues as the charm base). Once you get to 68+ (esp if you didn't use blues) I would save up again till you have enough non-blues to make geyser titans. These are the best xp/charm, though they do cost a bit more. (Still worth it imo) Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
