hatebringer
Hey guys, I just wanted to see your opinion on this since we all know how helpful jagex support is.... I totally forgot that my credit card expired last month and since it charged through for membership I thought nothing of it all month until I tried logging in only to find myself in a f2p world :/ Lol so I updated my card info but it still hasn't given me membership yet, so Im kind of wondering when you think I should expect it to come back OR if my price will end up going up? I am still running on the 5$ a month so I REALLLY would like to not lose that because of a stupid mistake, I know they said there is a rollover period of like 5 days or something but they have been trying to charge my account for 4 days already I just had no idea. Any thoughts or ideas? 99 Fletching 99 Attack 99 Constitution 99 Cooking 99 StrengthGamertag: H8tebringer
Sy_Accursed
If you just updated card details on the existing thing it won't try to charge again til next month is due. If you want members now you need to either buy a 1 month subscription via whatever method you like OR cancel the recurring one and start a new one with the new card so it charges immediately. In terms of losing the grandfathered price I would assume it will lapse, despite the recurring subscription, if you are not actually members status due to a bounced payment. Well thats what i was wondering, since I'm already out of membership, and updated the card details but it didn't charge the updated card yet and was wondering if I cancel it and resubscribe would I lose my gradfathered price? Thats really the only thing I'm kind of worried about since 5$ a month is well worth it over 8$ 99 Fletching 99 Attack 99 Constitution 99 Cooking 99 StrengthGamertag: H8tebringer
J35u5_M4
I think you lose the discount the moment you cancel the membership, whatever the reason was
Sy_Accursed
I think you lose the discount the moment you cancel the membership, whatever the reason was I'm fairly sure there is a 1 week grace period on grandfathered prices, same as there is for loyalty rates. D. V. Devnull
Hatebringer, click here to go to the RS Official Billing Support page, and hurry! This one isn't 100% sure, but you might still be able to get it switched over before it lapses, just as long as you make things plain, clear, and understandable! Good luck getting that error fixed! :ohnoes: ~D. V. "Why didn't you look for this four days ago?!?!?" Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
Low C
I emailed billing support since mine lapsed for a month and they were nice enough to give me the 5.00 membership on my new debit card. Only took them like 2-3 days to respond as well.
