3 Bind Mage Dung Setup

I just recently reached 99 Dungeoneering and am now wanting to start my journey on to become a true master aka 120 dung.

 

Here are my stats before you say "why you mage noob, use melee":

 

124 Combat

78 attack

78 strength

***Alll other skills 99***

 

I'm 99 Dung atm and my current binds suck --- recently got blood necklace drop and realized how useless it was for a mage.

 

I ran into a fellow player with similar combat stats who was utilizing this setup (He gained most his levels w/o a SSH so decided to never bind one):

 

 

 

However by keeping my SSH, I feel this may be a good setup (or is the mage attack bonus not good enough?):

 

 

 

I'd also end up making an empowered fire staff aswell when possible w/o wasting too much time which results in 17 mage attack bonus and 10 damage bonus.

 

What would be my best option or variation?

CCS > another defensive bind for sure, not completely certain ccs > efs but don't get three defensive binds.

 

If you ever get a second ammo bind you'll want a hex but until then, it's no good (sadly).

 

I'd say hood + ccs + celestial top. You need magic attack bonus for maging mid-level rangers etc. or you'll never be able to solo a gd.

I agree with Quyneax, lose that primal plate and use the setup he suggested, or if you want a bit more def you could try sagi top when you can get it
