Gather all materials, buying strung yews makes no profit and you lose GP.

Really buying from other people doesn't make a profit, unless you find some extremely desperate sellers. But it is the extremely fast mage xp. Losing 100k to 500k is worth it to me. But I'd say the best way is to buy most of the supplies, then make the last yourself. Either buy 10k of everything and 9k nats, then make the nats, or cut 1k yews. I'm doing that with 10k supplies, cut 1k yews, and I should make a 280k profit or so. Not too bad.

it dont impress me that much, i was almost forced to sell my yew longs that i made from 94-99 fletching simply because i had to make 32k yew longs, i made 10k sold them and then that funded me the rest of the way to 99, my problem was i did not have hardly ANY money(after buyin up good herb and tree seed deals in catherby i literalyl found my self down to 1 gold coin) my friend thankfully donated 10k nats to me and which i alched them to buy more nats and i alched til i had paid him off completely.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but whats really good about 75+wc and 85+ fletching. theirs a knife spawn in sorcers tower which u can fletch your logs while the trees respawn. and if you cut your magic logs(or yews) thats a very nice profit, but considerable amount of time spent stringing cutting and BUYING bow strings(which i hate...)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if your in it for $, buy flax from auto pickers for like 80-100 ea spin it all and get huge crafting exp(cheaper then bow strings) and then cut your logs and make your own nats for the maximum return of the fruits of your efforts.

the best way is to have good trustworthy friends who like free fletching xp, u buy yew logs 300 each, strings 150 each and nats 300 each.. that equals 750, yew long alchs for 768gp that way u dont lose money, but the hard part is getting them all made, especially if ur going from like 50-85 mage and u need 30k yew longs

If its money your after and have the time to spend then fletching the yews and alching will save cash, but sellin the yew longs that u fletched would be a bigger profit

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

for fast mage xp then buy the yews becuase ull be loosing 20-50 gp which is better than loosinbg 300gp per law when teleing for fast xp

i think u still make a good profit if u buy bs (bow strings) but cut the logs ur self. when u get to magic logs u will probably make bigger profits.

it takes a minimium of 80 fletching to fletch magic logs. :P what i do is i buy yew logs 300 each, and flax 100gp each (or bowstrings is i can get them for 100 each) and go into free worlds to get rune essence 20gp each. i cut my yews and spin my flax, then use the wonderful abyss to make my nature runes. i then alch at seers bank, looking for more flax and yews to buy. when i alch i also have some laws on me, to sell for 1k each to people who need them. i also keep my eye out for good deals, so i can try to merchant to make a little profit :P

riekba, your people skills must not be soo good because literally all of my friends who can feltch yew longs, would fletch them for me to alch. my friend alex, he was getting his fletching up JUST so we could do this he said as long as its free exp he dont care, my profit or not.

I was going to mention that until I got to your post! Stealing my ideas. You disgust me. Anyway, I got my best friend and my girlfriend hooked, and we're working on her magic, my fletching and my friend's runecrafting. In exactly the manner you're talking about. She buys logs, strings and ess, then my buddy and I take over. It's an awesome way to get experience because she's making her money back when she alchs and we're not paying a dime for the materials.

I've been buying yew longs for 600 each, buying essence for 40-50 each, make nats with the ess I bought then alch. I get some profit, but im in it for the mage lvls.
