Does Balmung work on Dagg Sentiels in Dom Tower?

Someone recommended i try it out for the xp (You can let one of them constantly heal while taking advantage of the 175% normal damage Balmung should deal) but i couldn't seem to hit well over 500 in a short test wearing max strength + extremes + turmoil...

It seems odd that they would nerf Balmung there, but still make them give normal xp, making them still a great place to afk with rapier/whip/dharoks.

Doesnt matter because balmungs are vastly inferior to rapiers even with the boost.

Eh. You're right. It's basically a worse dharoks axe.

Edit: Oooh. Checked if 10% hp boost dharoks beats rapier, seeing as theres 0 overkill and low defense after potentially several BGS specs

Rapier max = 605

Dharoks max = 1200+ @ ~50hp

Dharoks hits 4 for every 7 rapier

Rapier = 4235

Dharoks = 4800+

Well I'll be damned. Obviously rapier has the accuracy advantage but sentiels have low defense, and spec restore BGS will only lower it further.

Dharok max of 1200+ only applies with salve I thought? Though that was pre-kiln cape, but still.

Edit: tip.it calc gives 1155 @ 1/990 lp, 1321 with salve. Rapier is 622/710. So Dharok is still a bit better.

Using the life point boost from bonfires increases how much health you can lose and thus also increases your max hit. There's a hit splat pic over on zybez of 1197.

The 10% health boost from fires effects the dharoks damage. You essentially have a constant 10% more damage. So in theory it should be close to 1270, at 1 hp.

Curious how you got 622 rapier though when i got 605, did you use vestas + str ammy + dfs or something? I just used practical gear...

Derp you used void of course. I'm a dummy.

Just FYI all hits above the normal max without the dharoks set effect are orange, so a 700 would be orange just like a 1197, it's not a good indication of the true max. Although it seems pretty close at 50hp.
