runoilija92
I've got to Jad like 6times in a row, and died. Never dealt enough damage. I have 0 problems payer switching etc, I just just dont have enough damage to kill Jad after the healers come. When I reach jad I normally have like 4 brews and 7-10super restores, 1 range pot left, so I know that if its required I could bring a diff setup for Jad. I know my range level is ''low'' but I just cant be bothered to level it more, Ive killed Jad like 3years ago with this acc with range level like 75 so I know its easily doable, I just dont remember which setup I used back then. My gear: V helm & legs, armadyl chest, archer ring, snakeskin boots, culinoromancer gloves 10, avas acc, karils cbow. Questions: What range weapon/ammo should I use for Jad? Should I try mage Jad, and if yes, what gear/spell to bring? Or should I try some melee stuff? Also am I meant to focus the healers or Jad? If I remember correctly from years ago, even if you killed the healers they respawned?
Boris5000
If you attack each healer once so they begin attacking you and then you focus back on Jad. They do not heal Jad. Rune C'bow + Broad Bolts or Diamond (e)Polypore StaffStorm of Armadyl are all viable options to use. Luck be a Lady
Quyneax
Your problem is that you're using an outdated setup which doesn't play to your strengths, that is, magic and melee. Try meleeing the caves in Bandos + whip + defender (on task if possible), using Ahrim's + polypore staff for Jad. You can also mage the 360s if you don't like kiting. Pray piety while meleeing, mystic might while maging. Use a combination of super strength, Vecna's skull and magic potions, possibly with super attack also if you have inventory to spare. Sinkhan
Getting a slayer task for Jad would also make things go even more smoothly. If you aren't already, you should also use flasks if you aren't feeling confident still. Otherwise Q's advice is what you want to go with. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Assassin1357
As has been said, your magic level is a lot higher than your range level. Use that to your advantage. I dont know much about the caves but I have read that ganodermic makes it A LOT easier since it can absorb some Jads magic attack
