Ely, Divine, Or Nex Armours?

What would be the best equipment to have for overall PVM?

 

- Ely shield

- Divine shield

- Torva

- Pernix

- Virtus

Torva would only be used for Graardor and even there it's not much better than bandos.

 

Virtus for glacors? Again, not that necessary.

 

Pernix is very good for for armadyl gwd/Nex, hence why it's the most expensive set.

Pretty much just 1 of the items, other than maybe an ely & virtus.

If you want to Nex, I think Pernix would be the biggest upgrade you can get first, and after that Ely/Divine.

 

Not sure about the rest of the sets, unless they become more useful after the combat rework.

Pernix + EEK is actually the best setup for nex if you're joining forum teams, although pernix + divine is technically the best in an all sigil team.

It depends what you do. For tormented demons & glacors, Virtus. For DKS, elysian (maybe Torva legs). For Bandos/Zamorak/Saradomin god wars, Torva or Virtus (if you SoA them, for the heck of it :P). For Armadyl god wars, Pernix or Virtus (again, SoA for fun). For Nex, Pernix. For corp, Virtus (solo probably ganodermic + divine). For KQ, also Virtus. KBD, void :P.

 

In general, Nex items offer greater offence than spirit shields. For magic, the difference is about 30 mage attack compared to the next best (arcane). For ranged, it's about 20 difference. Melee not so much, but Torva would allow you to use a defender more often.
