Fast Combat Level

Hey everyone, i was wondering if there was a pretty fast way to raise my combat level to 85. I need it to do dream mentor and smoking kills. I am willing to spend a little bit on prayer. Any help?

You could get all 3 melees to 60-70 range without much trouble either via slayer or camping one of the usual camp grounds like giant cockroachs, rock crabs etc. which ought to more than cover 85 combat. And 70 across the board is a good goal anyway since how most of the decent weapons and armours arrive at 70+.

Is that doable by the weekend? Thats when i want the quests done

I suppose it might be doable, not sure on xp:hr rates exactly but there's not any quicker way to do it to my knowledge.

If you can I suggest to get at the very least 60 prayer for chivalry (need to do King's Ransom quest and Knight waves to unlock it though) or 70 for piety which is the best melee prayer until you unlock curses and 95 prayer for turmoil. Either way Piety will come very handy for combat training and PVM in general.

 

If you want fast combat levels I'd suggest to camp some monster (Bandits in the desert camp are my favourite though they are usually crowded) because some slayer tasks are quite slow and bad xp at lower combat levels.
