I have used the configuration listed below - Processor - Intel core i5 2500kVideo Card - nVidia Geforce GTX 560 TiRAM - 2 x 2GB transcend DDR3 @ 1333MhzHard drive - 500GB Segate SATA 7200rpm driveMother Board - ? Need an ATX boardPower supply - ? Need a 750W PSU with 40 amps or higher in the 12v rail. I also want to know about the capacity of the SSD drive for storage of OS and other stuff. Thx in advance.
June 16, 201214 yr Author You are planning on playing more than just RS on it, right? Yes, i plan on playing games like skyrim, etc, and few other future games before upgrading the PC.

June 16, 201214 yr Welcome to the forums. I've moved your thread to a more appropriate section.Good luck finding the answers you need. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." "An imperfect man can do great deeds, and a great man imperfect ones.

Do those specs really set you back 1000$ ? I live in india, so the cost of the above specs comes to around 48,000 rupees including a ASRock Z68 PRO3 Gen3 ATX mother board (is this good for this config) and rupees 48,000 is 863$. So every increase in the price in dollars is going to have a huge difference in rupees.
June 19, 201214 yr For the power supply, you don't need more than 650W even if you SLI the 560ti. Get either a Corsair, Antec or Seasonic power supply. Nothing else.
June 20, 201214 yr I've got a silverstone PSU it works good and is very quiet. There are lots of good PSUs but that make a shitload of noise so I'd recommend looking at the reviews and picking someone quiet as well. Although it's pointless if the rest of your build is noisy. 500GB HHD is very small. I'd get a 1TB at the very least. Remember that HHDs get slower as they fill up, you should always have more space than you're going to use. Personally I'd go for at least 2TB, they fill up fast. SSD is a luxury, if money is an issue don't bother. But if you do get one get atleast 120GB, anything less and you hardly have any space left after putting OS. 2480+ total
