osutampabucs13
Hi everyone, I'm a long-time player returning from a long hiatus. My main concern is building up a stock pile of cash to be able to skill, but I'm not sure what I can do with my stats anymore. Does farming herbs still make money? Are there other things that I can do as well? I have 12m in cash and 75 construction & 70 prayer banked as far as resources are concerned. My stats are below
Drazhor
Firstly, welcome back :) Secondly, farming herbs is still quite profitable! Unless the prices drastically shifted in the past few weeks, then Snapdragons and Ranarrs are still a very nice profit for herb running! You can also make some money from doing your 'dailies', such as buying Bstaves in varrock staff shop.A nice source of income is Slayer, it may not make as much as it used to- but I still find it a nice source, and the clue scrolls also help out! You could try farming Easy clue scrolls for god pages, the zammy pages are over 4m each iirc! You farm them from pick pocketing HAM members from their dungeon beside Lumbridge. You could also try Bossing with friends; it's fun and you can make some nice cash! And I feel like I should shamelessly advertise the TMHT events which take place, we usually do mass bossing trips- they're a lot of fun and you can make many friends at the events! :) Visit my blog! Th e Doctor
Don't farm snaps. They are crashing and very upstable right now. Go with a low level one thats still good profit such as ranarr. Check grimys sheets for which ones are good. Get into MTK asap as well. Besides that you only need 69 construction for an altar (assuming that's what you're getting it for) with the crystal saw and level three tea. Then work on dungeoneering while farming herbs / doing dailies for cash. By 80 you should be around 50 mil cash plus your chaotic rapier. If you go to 85 you unlock frosts for a steady 1.5 mil an hour. Platinum_Myr
Farming is good, but a lot depends on what things you have with it. If you want to farm long term, aim to unlock juju potions and get the greenfingers aura. Without these, it is a lot less profitable. (Snaps are not very good without jujus, in comparison to ranarrs) Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
osutampabucs13
Hey guys, thanks for the answers! I just picked up a bunch of ranarr seeds and are getting started on that... I've started dungeoning but I'm only 9 and it seems to be a slow skill. I've sold off the planks as well, and kept the bones as I may use those. country devil
I would personally use all lamps/joat/penguin points/tog into dung until you're around level 50 and then start to actually dung..

Sooo much. Dungeoneering is one of the few skills that starts out really slow and exp gets insanely fast once you learn good strategies, get good teams and get a higher level.
