August 6, 201213 yr Light yews (not in a bonfire) until 83 firemaking, then head to the jadinko lair at 83. Get an adze at 92. Oh, and you'll need 83 woodcutting too (it doesn't take too long and is more than worth it). If you only take one thing from this post, it's that bonfires are a no-no.

Don't bother with the Flame Gloves and Flame ring until you go get the Inferno Adze as well.

August 8, 201213 yr Yew bonfires are about as fast and much more costly than Jadinko lair firemaking w/o adze. Adze bumps Jadinko firemaking up to the level of magic bonfires. "Tryhard" manual firemaking is about 1.5-2x faster than plain bonfires I think. Out of the two kinds of logs, yew is better if you can merchant. Only if you have un-solvable trouble with making money should you burn maples. August 8, 201213 yr Yew logs aren't as fast as curly roots unless you tryhard it, at which point it's better to just pyrelord. Magics are close, but they're still not as good.
August 9, 201213 yr Bonfires are something like 1100 logs/hr for about 330k xp/hr with mage logs, 220k with yews? Last I heard, curlies are only 200k/hr without adze, up to 300k with, and slightly dependant on woodcutting level as well. August 12, 201213 yr At 5m gp/hour, jadinko lair is still 7% more efficient than burning magic logs, not counting wc xp.
