Leech Defense Question

Featured Replies

Does leech defense lower your opponents mage defense as well? That's all I need to know, thanks in advance!

It does but only 0.3 of what you'd expect. Leech magic is more effective at reducing mage defense. Leech both for the full effect.

The Defence skill plays a role in Magic combat: Defence against spells is measured as 30% of the target's Defence level and 70% of their Magic level.

Do you have a source for 1/3 instead of 3/10?

The difference between 1/3 and 3/10 is 3%, is it that big of a deal?

So essentially leech defense only lowers mage def by 8.33%?

It's the difference between being right and being wrong, which is a big deal.

Is it?

Considering this forum is all about asking questions and getting the right answer, yes.

It's also worth noting that neither leech curses work if you're not using the polypore staff.
