is there a fletching, smelting or smithing calculator that u can enter how many of X u need to make and it will give u a list of what you need to make that many

 

ill use the task i set for myself

 

make 1 million mithril arrows without buying anything

 

i need to now how many

logs i need to cut

coal i need to mine

mithril ore i need to mine

 

any help would be great

not on tip.it but there may be else where,

 

to be honest you should be able to do the math yourself.

 

I did my calculations for 1k but it should bea easy to scale to 1 million

 

there is 15 arrow shafts per log so you need like 67 logs (will give a bit more than 1k but what ever)

you need 4 coal per mithril bar and 1 mithril ore per bar. you get 15 arrow heads per bar. so you need 67 mithril bars total = 67 mithril ore & 267 coal

 

would need 1k feathers as well.

 

 

to recap for 1k arrows:

67 logs

67 mithril ore

267 coal

1k feathers.

 

to get to a million multiply each of those by 1k. basically, that seems like a lot, hmmmm wow. good luck with that.

 

comings from a person that personally cut 77k yews, you probably don't want to cut that many trees, that would make the most sane person go a bit off the deep end. but hey if you want to do that go right ahead that would be a great achievement.

I am not aware of such a calculator anywhere, but as pointed out above it is very simple maths to do yourself.

 

Arrows are made in 15s.

15 arrows breaks down to:

15 arrow heads

15 feathers

15 arrow shafts.

 

These break down to:

15 feathers

1 log

1 metal bar

 

In your case you are doing mithril so it further breaks to:

15 feathers

1 log

1 mithril ore

4 coal

 

1,000,000/15 = 66,667 (rounded up)

Therefore you need:

1,000,000 Feathers

66,667 logs

66,667 mithril ore

266,668 coal

You carried the decimal point one place too far to the right when you calculated 1,000,000/15. It's 66,667(rounded up) and not 666,667(rounded up).

So it's actually 66,667 each of mithril ore and logs and 266,668 coal, I believe.
